We are a creative practice and community founded in Newark, NJ in 2023. Through scrapbooking workshops, junk journaling, film photography, and community activations, we create spaces where people can slow down, express themselves, and fall in love with their own story.
This is not just arts and crafts.
This is memory keeping.

Newark is alive with creativity, and it is time we document it. Newark Renaissance: A Living Archive is a free community activation dedicated to building a public archive of Newark's people, moments, and culture in real time. Bring your photos, your flyers, your memories.
Our Community Memory Lab will digitize your submissions on-site and add them to a growing public archive housed at the Newark Public Library.
